Simon Vratzian
1882-1969
Born in Great Sala village of New Nakhichevan, Northern Caucasus. Graduates from Kevorkian Educational Institute of Etchmiadzin. Participates in the 4th General Convention of ARF in Vienna. Studies at the Law School of St. Petersburg.
Works as the editor of papers Hayrenik in America, Horizon in Caucasus and Troshag in Paris.
In Caucasus he participates in the Voluntary Army creation committee. Elected member of the Bureau. Appointed Village Administration and Public Works Minister in the H Ohanchanian Government.
The fourth Prime Minister of the Armenian Republic, it was his fate to hand over the country to the Bolsheviks.
During the February Uprisings, acted as the president of the "Saving the Fatherland" committee.
Publishes "Armenian Republic", "With the roads of life" memory series and other works.
From 1952 till his death he works as the principle of Nshan Palanjian Educational Institute of Hamazkayin, in Beirut.
He dies at the age of 87 in Beirut, Lebanon.
