Born in Shabin Karahisar. A leader of Armenian freedom movemant and a militant.
In 1914, he was appointed commander of the voluntary A. regiment, 1100 people. He commands the victorious battle of Tilman (near Khoy, Iran). He is appointed the commander of the division, receives the title General from General Averianov, the commander of Caucasian front.
Participates in the fights of self defense of Zankezur. With the invitation of Armenian Revolutionary Federation's central committe of Gharapagh, with his regiment marches towards Shushi, but the British military representative stops the march and redirects it to far away Koris.
Antranig returns to Echmiatzin, where he gets into disagreements with the government of Armenian Republic. He releases his soldiers, hands over the armaments and guns to Kevork V Catholicos and he leaves to Europe, and than America.
He died 61 years old, in Fresno, United States of America. He was buried in Paris, France.
