"I
love you." Simple and to the point,
but these three words are some of the most powerful in
the English language. Use them often. And mean it.
it's a date
A
marriage or long-term relationship shouldn't
mean the end of dating. Setting aside time
for the two of you is crucial to lasting
love. Make it as exciting as it once was
with the care and preparation you used to
dedicate to it. Don't wait for special
occasions-make up one of your own. Spend
extra time getting ready. Wear something
that makes you feel desirable. Take out the
"good" perfume. Choose an activity or a
location that's intimate: that little French
bistro in town, ice skating or a late-night
movie."
Sometimes
it's the littlest actions that make the most impact.
Unfortunately, they're usually the first to go as people
become comfortable in their relationships. Holding down
household responsibilities takes the place of holding
hands. Opening the bills replaces opening doors. A kiss
before bed-well, has it been a while? Don't take your
love for granted. Do take advantage of every opportunity
to show how much you care.
